Rod and Rusty Marshall performed two brothers-style duets with guitar and mandolin on this compilation put out by the Missouri Area Bluegrass Committee, “Roll in my Sweet Baby’s Arms,” and “The Hills of Roan County”


Rachel Ann/Fool Over You | Cuca Records | 1967 | 45-RPM single
The songs were recorded in Nashville in 1965 as demos with Hank Williams fiddler, Jerry Rivers, and Kitty Wells steel player. It was locally distributed in the Madison, Wisconsin area.


The Country’s Come to Town | The Bluegrass Hoppers | Cuca 1001 | 1967
Rod’s first commercial recording as mandolinist and tenor singer in this band based in Madison Wisconsin; this vinyl album contained two of Rod’s originals, the title song and an instrumental “The Bluegrass Hop,” and was nationally distributed by Cuca.
